Nano-scale bio-sensors, a niche domain in the field of materials science, are poised to play a leading role in advanced health informatics and related futuristic applications, such as bio digital twins. Requirements for these microscopic and (likely) implantable technologies include conductivity, flexibility, non-toxicity, connectivity, economy and precision.
