MEI Lab is charged with advancing modern medical possibility beyond the analysis of past and present. What will happen next for any given patient is the most important question we pursue. Our development of a cardiovascular bio digital twin is the first step to unlock this future. To get there, new discoveries like next generation smart sensors, advanced nano technology and micro actuates must be made. Ultimately, this will help us build a powerful virtual representation of a patient’s physiology, permitting real-time medical predictions and treatments in their unique digital doppelgängers before applying them in the real world.
