Kazu Gomi on the ABCs of ABE – And the Future of Encryption

In his inaugural article as a Forbes contributor, NTT Research President and CEO, Kazuhiro Gomi, notes that the field of encryption, a key component of any cybersecurity framework, is evolving. One current development is associated with Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE), an approach proposed fifteen years ago by Drs. Amit Sahai and Brent Waters. Dr. Sahai is now a professor of computer science at the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering, and Dr. Waters is professor of computer science at the University of Texas, Austin, and a distinguished scientist at NTT Research.
