NTT Service Innovation Laboratory Group
The NTT Service Innovation Laboratory Group aims to use technology to help optimize the physical world of the future. The group researches and develops technologies that digitize people and objects to enable large-scale, high-accuracy, high-speed predictions of future society and provide feedback on various iterations.
The group’s vision is to realize unprecedented insight into humans and societal interactions through digitization and digital twin technology, providing the ability to demonstrate potential outcomes of various actions related to security, privacy, and the global environment.
The Service Innovation Laboratory Group
consists of three sub-labs:
NTT Human Informatics Laboratories
The mission of the Human Informatics Laboratory is to break down the barriers of time and distance between people, wherever they may be, by developing ICT capabilities that maximize human capabilities.
NTT Social Informatics Laboratories
Focused on the transformation of advanced social systems and human societies through ICT. Objectives include wellbeing research, cyber security, innovations to create safe social systems, and next-generation cryptography.
NTT Computer & Data Science Laboratories
Researching ways to dramatically scale up computing performance in order to more efficiently process vast quantities of data, such as from smart phones and IoT devices, to mine new value from data, and solve practical problems.
